Engineering Design and Drafting Technologist Diploma - Windsor Campus

CompuCampus College is the only private career college offering a hands-on engineering design diploma in Windsor and south Ontario. The Engineering Design & Drafting Diploma is completed in 28 weeks (about 7 months), and focuses on teaching design software and hardware commonly used in the engineering industry. Windsor offers vast array of engineering jobs, including openings in some of the 750+ local factories which contribute to various production aspects of the Big 3 automobile manufacturers. Our instructors work locally in the manufacturing engineering industry and can provide a wealth of information and advice for our students from their own experience.

Each module of the course includes step-by-step instructions, examples, and hands-on exercises. The Unigraphics course teaches part design and modeling skills and covers all solid modeling fundamentals. The hands-on Catia course teaches 3D modeling skills that can be used in part or assembly design. Our AutoCAD course teaches the skills that cover all fundamentals of 2D and 3D modeling. Introduction to SolidWorks uses interface, menus, toolbars, concepts, and modeling techniques to create parts, assemblies and drawings. Pro/Engineer modeling course teaches the basic 3D modeling skills using and covers 2D sketching. CNC Programming teaches the basic programming skills and covers milling and turning operation CNC codes.
